The Fischer FHG 35G is a hybrid gas and electric geyser. It runs on either fuel, which is the point of it: when gas pressure falls away in winter you switch to the electric element instead of going without.
As a general guide to sizing rather than a claim about this unit, a 35 gallon tank is usually specified for a larger household, or more than one bathroom at a time.
