The PS5 Slim is Sony's revised PlayStation 5 and the standard model in the current line-up. Sony cut the volume by more than 30% and the weight by 18–24% against the launch console, with no change in performance.
Sony sell it two ways and the difference is not cosmetic: the disc version carries 1 TB and a detachable Ultra HD Blu-ray drive, the Digital version carries 825 GB and no drive at all, though the drive can be bought separately and clipped on later.
